Recently, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xi Jinping made an important instruction: On the new journey, we must deeply grasp the contemporary connotation of Lei Feng's spirit, better play the exemplary role of party members and cadres, strengthen the guarantee and support for volunteer services, continuously develop and expand the Lei Feng volunteer service team, let the study of Lei Feng become a prevailing trend among the people, especially the youth, integrate the study of Lei Feng activities into daily life, and let Lei Feng's spirit shine even more brilliantly in the new era, gathering strong forces for the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country and the comprehensive promotion of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Sixty years ago, Comrade Mao Zedong inscribed "Learn from Comrade Lei Feng". For 60 years, Lei Feng's name has become known to every household, his deeds warm people's hearts, and his spirit spreads across the world. The study of Lei Feng activities has flourished and deepened, and Lei Feng's spirit is widely promoted and continuously inherited, inspiring generations to be loyal to the party, dedicate to the country, and serve the people.

At 10 a.m. on March 4, the company's young volunteers actively initiated a proposal: "Promote the spirit of volunteers, showcase the spirit of Xinkai" to launch a study of Lei Feng activities in the company. The proposal received strong support from the party branch secretary and chairman Liang Xinwen, and relevant activity proposals were quickly sent out in the WeChat group of party members and management cadres. By 5 p.m. on March 4, a total of 42 people had signed up to participate in the related activities. Among them, 13 were young volunteers, and 29 party members and cadres joined the activity team. In this activity, the branch's deputy secretary Li Wenjian organized diligently, formulating the "Lei Feng Volunteer Service Activity Arrangement", clarifying the location, content, and objectives of this study of Lei Feng activity. The activity utilized Sunday to thoroughly clean up the long-accumulated garbage and debris in several blank sanitation areas of the factory.

At 8:15 a.m. on March 5, all members entered the designated activity location on time, and under the leadership of four group leaders, they vigorously launched the related activities. During the activity, the party flag flew high, and thirteen young volunteers, dressed in uniform, actively requested to tackle the most difficult area to clean in the company. They were full of fighting spirit and acted swiftly, not afraid of dirt or fatigue; although they were already sweating profusely, they still rushed forward. Similarly, in a nearby difficult area, under the leadership of Chairman Liang Xinwen, Vice President Zhang Yuanfeng, Vice President Li Wenjian, and company committee member Yan Wanjian, the leaders responded effectively. Although most of them were over fifty years old, the oldest old communist party member, Master Mi Zhijian, was already sixty-five years old, yet they still displayed passion and vigor, and their entire process of action was no less than that of the young volunteers.

After nearly a day's activity, this event cleared more than twenty truckloads of garbage, and the sanitation condition of the factory area was completely renewed, with a spirit that resembled the vibrant spring, giving people strength. This is exactly: The spirit of Lei Feng enters Xinkai, and the gentle spring breeze warms people's hearts. With the active drive of the volunteers, this study of Lei Feng activity received high praise from the company's executive director and chief trainer Lü Yazheng: The volunteer team is a beautiful landscape of Xinkai Company, dazzling! With the drive of this team, the spirit of Xinkai will surely be passed down and flourish! On the occasion of the two sessions, the study of Lei Feng activities initiated by volunteers in the company is not only a positive response to General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instruction on deeply carrying out the study of Lei Feng activities but also fully demonstrates the power of role models, reflecting the consistent words and actions of Xinkai people in the 65 years of development and their pursuit of values towards "upward" and "good".
