Since its establishment, the Xin Kai Women’s Science and Technology Innovation Studio has consistently upheld the core principles of “Innovation, Service, and Development,” continuously investing in areas such as standardization, product R&D, and industry–university–research collaboration, and has achieved a series of notable accomplishments: In 2020, it took the lead in drafting the China Heavy Machinery Association’s group standard “Double-Arc Herringbone Gear Reducer”; in 2022, it successfully completed the development and design of a replacement for SEW’s medium‑size M‑series hard‑toothed surface reducers; in 2023, it successfully filed a utility model patent titled “Electromechanical Integrated Transmission Intelligent Inspection Platform”; and in 2024, it joined forces with Taiyuan University of Technology to advance the “50,000 RPM Ultra-High-Speed Mechanical Power Closed Test Bench” project.
On March 8, the Shanxi Provincial Women’s Federation and the Jinzhong Municipal Women’s Federation jointly organized the “Role Models Among Women Go to the Grassroots – Volunteer Services Warm Sanjin” public welfare volunteer event to celebrate International Women’s Day (March 8). Xinkai Women in Science and Technology Innovation Li Pengjuan, representing the studio, took to the stage to receive the award. As the leader of the studio, Engineer Li Pengjuan has fully leveraged her role in “mentoring, assisting, and guiding,” leading her team to transcend gender boundaries and overcome work challenges with wisdom and perseverance. The two group standards she spearheaded have been successfully released and implemented, providing a scientific foundation for product selection, manufacturing, and inspection. In 2025, the studio was already honored with the title of “Jinzhong City Model Post for Women’s Civilization.” This upgrade to a provincial-level honor is the result of the team’s continued dedication to deepening its engagement in scientific and technological innovation—and it also underscores Shanxi Province’s strong recognition of the innovative vitality of female science and technology professionals. Guided by the principles of “Party building leadership, Women’s Federation leadership, demand‑driven approaches, and precise services,” this initiative closely aligns with the mission of “rooting ourselves in communities, serving families, helping those in need, and standing together in mutual support.” The studio’s award is a vivid demonstration of how the Women’s Federation is promoting scientific and technological innovation through the “Women’s Action” initiative, setting a powerful example for women across the country to “aspire to emulate the virtuous and strive to achieve success.”
In the future, the Xinkai Women’s Science and Technology Innovation Studio will continue to leverage its role as a provincial-level model for women’s civilized posts, rallying “her power” in scientific and technological innovation and continuing to make concerted efforts in areas such as industry–university–research collaboration and the commercialization of technological achievements.
