At the meeting, Director Liu Guangming of the Integration of Industry and Education Center of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology personally led the representatives of various enterprises to visit the practical training base for the integration of industry and education. He introduced the background, construction requirements, construction goals, construction progress, and future development of the Shanxi Province high-end equipment intelligent manufacturing practical training base, which is led by Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, relying on its advantages in equipment manufacturing and characteristic disciplines to actively connect with the forefront of regional economic and industrial development. He focused on explaining some explorations in the construction of the practical training base system for the integration of industry and education, including the joint operation mechanism of "government, enterprise, industry, and school", talent training mechanism, and technological innovation mechanism. He pointed out that the practical training base will focus on key technologies, core links, and industrial development trends in the field of high-end equipment intelligent manufacturing, aiming to break down the barriers between traditional education and industrial practice by integrating school-enterprise resources, innovating teaching models, and strengthening practical training, in order to cultivate more application-oriented and innovative talents that meet industry needs. Dr. Chen Rui provided an in-depth interpretation of the national and Shanxi provincial policies related to the integration of industry and education, as well as the cultivation of integration platforms and practical training bases and integration-type enterprises in our province. Subsequently, several representatives from small and medium-sized enterprises in Jinzhong City expressed their views and suggestions on the topic of integration of industry and education. In the speech of Minister Yan, the Chief Engineer of our company's technology center, he provided a detailed report on the achievements of our company in the cooperation of industry, academia, and research with Taiyuan University of Science and Technology. Minister Yan emphasized that deepening the integration of industry and education is extremely important for enhancing the technological innovation capability of enterprises and the quality of talent training, and therefore he expressed firm confidence and support for the construction of the integration base.
