On the morning of June 22, under the careful organization of Chairman Liang Xinwen and General Manager Liu Changsheng, the "Current Development Trends and Intelligent Forum of Belt Conveyors" was successfully held in the ancient city of Pingyao, Shanxi. This belt conveyor development forum is an important academic exchange event for 2024, hosted by the Northwest Group of the Belt Conveyor Branch of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association, co-organized by Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, and undertaken by Shanxi Pingyao Reducer Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, Dong Wanjian, chief expert of China Coal Xi'an Design Engineering Co., Ltd., a master designer in the coal industry and a senior engineer at the professor level, presented a report on "The Current Situation and Development Trends of Belt Conveyors in the New Era"; Gao Yong, deputy director of the Design Research Institute of Northern Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd., presented a report on "Development and Application of a Parametric Finite Element Analysis Design Platform for Steel Structures Used in Belt Conveyors"; Dr. Zhou Lidong from Taiyuan University of Science and Technology presented a report on "Discussion on the Intelligence of Long-Distance Complex Route Circular Pipe Belt Conveyors"; Su Ruijie, chief engineer of Jiaozuo Keresen Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., presented a report on "Discussion on Energy-Saving Technologies for Long-Distance Belt Conveyors"; Professor Wang Ying, former vice president (former dean) of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology (Taiyuan Heavy Machinery College), interpreted the differences between the latest mechanical industry standard JB/T10380 circular pipe belt conveyor and the old version; Lou Dewei, general manager of Liaoning Baker Hughes Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd., promoted the application of the German BOSCH intelligent sweeper; Senior engineer Yan Zong, representing Shanxi Pingyao Reducer Co., Ltd., conducted an academic exchange on "Research and Application of Reducers for Conveyors".

Professor Wang Ying, former vice president (former dean) of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology (Taiyuan Heavy Machinery College), stated that in recent years, under the continuous guidance of technical forums of industry associations and the results of school-enterprise cooperation, belt conveyor products have gradually become the leading products of the company. The company continues to invest relevant funds for technological transformation and innovation in the direction of high-quality development, and widely introduces talents to enhance the core competitive advantages of product technology and quality. With technological innovation, the company has formed a multi-variety production advantage, launching new products to the market every month. The average age of employees in the technical department is around 30, making it a very dynamic team, recognized as the Shanxi Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, and has won honors such as the National Worker Pioneer Award. The company holds 15 invention patents (including two international inventions), 57 utility model specialties, participated in drafting 5 industry and group standards, and has more than 10 software copyrights. To continuously activate the internal vitality of the company, lean production activities have been introduced, stimulating employees' innovative motivation. The results of the company's "Five Small" activities have become a calling card for Pingyao every year, with multiple achievements receiving provincial, municipal, and county commendations.
