On July 6, the company held a speech event titled "Practicing the Spirit of the Hongqi Canal, Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Starting Again" in the second-floor lobby. The event was hosted by Assistant General Manager Hu Xiaoyuan. Chairman Liang Xinwen and General Manager Liu Changsheng attended and delivered important speeches on the annual work "Looking Back" and future work requirements.
This speech event was organized under the arrangement of General Manager Liu Changsheng. After visiting the "Hongqi Canal," the spirit of the Hongqi Canal deeply inspired the company employees. In response to everyone's positive feedback, this speech competition was launched. After receiving the company's notice, various departments actively responded and organized, resulting in over 30 speech drafts from employees and cadres within just one week. After the company's preliminary evaluation, 20 individuals were selected to participate in this speech competition. Among the 20 participants, there were both company committee members and frontline workers, as well as veteran employees with over forty years of service and newly hired employees. They fully demonstrated their ideals and beliefs of developing together with the company in the current difficulties through their understanding of the spirit of the Hongqi Canal, combined with the current state of the company's development. Their speeches were sometimes passionate, sometimes eloquent, sometimes visionary, and sometimes practical, with the audience frequently erupting in warm applause.

After the on-site evaluation, Comrade Zhang Wenzheng won the first prize in the company's speech competition; Comrades Liu Jianan and Wang Xiaodong won the second prize; and Comrades Cheng Jingjing, Qin Yongzhi, and Zhang Linhai won the third prize.

General Manager Liu Changsheng delivered a thematic report to all employees titled "Recognizing the Current Situation and Taking Appropriate Measures, Cherishing Our Jobs to Create a Better Future Together" regarding this event. He analyzed the positioning of our enterprise and products in the market based on the current market situation and proposed an overall idea for internal reform, stating that in the next phase of work, the company's management model should trend towards "self-organization, self-adaptation, self-driving, transitioning from rule by man to rule by law. Based on the current situation and the needs of modern enterprise management, we should break the model of egalitarianism, where doing more or less, or doing well or poorly is treated the same, allowing cadres to rise and fall, and employees to enter and exit." In terms of market development direction, under the guidance of the 133 medium and long-term strategic plan, "enhancing remanufacturing, overall solution, and other extended service capabilities (transforming from repair, service, and manufacturing to manufacturing service enterprises, shifting from selling products to selling products + services throughout the product's life cycle)." He also issued a mobilization order to all employees to "use the spirit of the Hongqi Canal to inspire us to fight." At the same time, he reviewed the company's 2024 work plan with everyone again, encouraging all departments to identify and address gaps through the recent "Looking Back" work, ensuring that in the second half of the year, through everyone's efforts, good results can be achieved even in extremely difficult circumstances.
