Information Summary:
Safety is the bottom line, the red line, and the lifeline of production; it is also the core foundation for the company’s steady and sustainable development. To deeply learn from the lessons of various safety incidents, effectively identify and mitigate safety risks at the production site, and comprehensively strengthen the company’s safety management framework, in alignment with the 2026 Production Safety Month theme—“Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies—Identifying and Rectifying Risks and Hidden Dangers”—as well as the specific directives issued by Chairman Liang and General Manager Liu on May 27 regarding the company’s safety production efforts, the company convened a special training session on June 6 titled “Identifying and Rectifying On-Site Safety Hazards,” focusing on production-site safety management and hazard identification. High-risk operations, Core content such as emergency response is leveraged to deliver comprehensive, tailored safety training and empowerment to frontline personnel in critical roles.
This training session was attended by key management personnel from all production sites, electromechanical maintenance staff, forklift operators, workers engaged in gas‑related operations such as oxy‑acetylene welding, painting and coating personnel, and hazardous waste management staff—each of whom serves as a critical executor and primary responsible party in the company’s safety‑production processes. By enhancing the safety competencies of these core roles, the initiative aims to drive broader improvements across the organization, systematically cascading enhanced awareness and practical skills in safety risk prevention to all employees.
The meeting made it clear that workplace safety is by no means limited to risk identification and hazard inspection; it also hinges on standardized preventive measures and professional emergency response capabilities. Grounded in the realities of workplace safety and drawing on lessons from the May 12 accident, this training is primarily aimed at… Electrical work, work at height, hot work, forklift operations, lifting operations, painting and coating operations, hazardous waste management, and confined space entry. Eight major high-risk operation guidelines are provided, with a particular focus on methods for routinely identifying and addressing safety hazards, key criteria for recognizing safety risks and potential hazards, and established remediation standards. This comprehensive approach aims to address all safety gaps at each job position, ensuring that every worker understands the risks, knows how to prevent them, and is prepared to respond effectively in emergencies.
To ensure that the training content is thoroughly understood and effectively implemented, all participants in this session took an examination on special operations and workplace safety. By using assessment to drive learning and practice, the program reinforced the theoretical foundation of safety, emphasized adherence to operational safety standards, and sought to eliminate complacency and a reliance on luck, thereby translating safety knowledge into conscious, proactive behavior on the job. In addition, Li Wenjian, the company’s Vice President of Administration, provided detailed guidance on the specific identification of safety risks and potential hazards at each production site.
Training goes beyond mere learning; effective implementation is what truly matters. All departments must conduct a comprehensive, all‑round review and systematic identification of safety hazards within their respective areas and job roles, accurately pinpointing the various potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with each position. Based on these findings, they should develop targeted, actionable safety management measures tailored to their specific operations. A safety management system should be established—characterized by “organization‑wide hazard identification, end‑to‑end control, and closed‑loop corrective action”—integrating hazard detection, risk prevention, and emergency preparedness into daily routines and sustained oversight, thereby preventing the persistence of latent hazards and the recurrence of problems.
